Reign in Us (May 29, 2008)

My blog posts have been anything but steady over the last few months. I actually began a few that required some research only to find I wasn’t able to finish (I should’ve known better by now). My schedule since December has made most things relating to this site hard to find time for, so I keep asking myself what’s most important? Where’s the balance? I’m not totally sure, but I have a few ideas. And a song by this band is helping me sort through all the baggage… (Read more…)

Jesus Film Adapted into Anime II (April 12, 2008)

The Anime Jesus Film has been underway for some time, to be distributed (I believe) by Inspirational Films, Inc.; the same people who gave us the original Jesus film seen by billions of people. By his wounds… (March 22, 2008)
Resurrection Day, as many of us call it, is my favorite day of the year. Because Christ was crucified and died, he paid the punishment for our sins. But after three days, he rose from the dead as he foretold. Because of this, we can have new life in Christ and receive eternal life after our death. All we need to do is accept him as our Savior. Stay Strong (February 21, 2008)
For Valentine’s Day, I received a pretty gift bag with some typical things that husbands usually give their wives including chocolates (which I had to hide from my kids in order to keep them from prematurely disappearing), and a meaningful card. I keep telling my husband that I don’t want jewelry or flowers; too expensive and I don’t like the fluff. I would have been just happy with the chocolate, but when I pulled out what was beside it, I jumped! (Read more…)

Autographs…? (February 12, 2008)
When I was 12, I sent away for lots of black and white glossy photos of my favorite artists and movie actors–autographs included. We had no internet at the time; no YouTube, MySpace, email, games, etc., so we didn’t mind having to rely on land lines and snail mail for everything. (Read more…)

Some Worthy Reads (November 10, 2007)
I’m finally posting about two projects that I had the wonderful opportunity to work on. The first is a new novel for teens released in a beautiful 6×9″ hard cover format. “The Arrow” is an amazing fantasy book with Christian overtones that everyone would enjoy by an independant writer named Randy McCoy.
